Character Name: Samuel "Sam
Series: Supernatural
Age: 23
From When?: S02E23
Inmate/Warden:
Sam has done a lot of bad shit, and that's unavoidable. At the very least, it was for particularly good reasons. He's essentially a professional murderer, but his targets are all supernatural creatures, killers and beasts alike that are probably better off dead than mauling innocent people. His heart's in the right place (if he appears suspect to outsiders who don't know any better), which is what is going to make him a warden. Sam may kill, but he doesn't kill indiscriminately - in fact, there's been more than one monster he's let go free merely because they're not actually harming anyone or anything, and have as much right to live as any human being on the planet does.
Though Sam most certainly has his issues, what he wants overall is to help. He wants to help purge the world of evil, he wants to help these victims of these supernatural beings, he wants to save the world if it comes down to it. He's not a ruthless killer. He's just a rather macabre hyperbole of an exterminator.
Item: His phone. Nothin' special.
Abilities/Powers:
+ I AM HUMAN AND I WILL LET YOU DOWN: For the most part, Sam is a human being and is constrained to the pros and cons of such. He can be injured or die like any other person, he's just a Winchester and has a tendency to - well, do it a lot more than most normal people should probably be doing.
+ NUNCHUK SKILLS, BOWHUNTING SKILLS...: Training started pretty early in the Winchester family, and Sam's more than handy with a range of weapons. He can shoot with deadly accuracy, and he's familiar with plenty of guns - shotguns, rifles, pistols. Beyond the arsenal, that doesn't make him defenseless by any means. He's also handy with a blade (a knife, a machete, you name it), and is quite skilled at hand to hand combat - he's taken out SWAT team members with nothing but his bare hands before. Then again, he's also been strangled by a lamp, so your mileage may vary.
+ I HACKED THE MOTION SENSORS: Sam would like to think he's the smarty of the two, if not just because he's capable of a lot more of the minutiae as compared to Dean. He's handy with a computer, particularly in research and memorization. He's not any kind of super hacker, and he's not so much with the engineering and the repairs like Dean is, but electronics are some of his forte. He even knows what a Myspace is!
+ ALL THIS BAD BLOOD HERE, WON'T YOU LET IT DRY?: There's also the small fact that Sam actually has some demon blood within him. It's not much, but it's enough to make him different, one of the "special children" that Azazel has gathered in an attempt to make his perfect being, an army of supernatural soldiers. These people are capable of super strength, mental persuasion, even controlling demons. Sam's only manifests in the form of premonitions, generally of people who are about to die. They're sporadic and hard to predict - sometimes they can happen hours before the death, sometimes they can happen seconds before. They're uncontrollable, and they give him violent headaches to go along with it.
Along the same lines, Sam has been able to push his powers enough to project memories into someone's (Dean's, specifically) head, but only flashes and images. The process is painful for either party, just as Sam's premonitions are.
Personality: [Please write at least 5 solid paragraphs. The more depth and detail, the better! Keep in mind that other players will use this section to determine if your character is a good match for potential Warden/Inmate pairings, and this may be their first exposure to your character.
Barge Reactions:
Unsurprisingly, Sam's going to be pretty blase about the whole idea of this place. He's seen enough in his lifetime to know that almost anything is possible - he's seen monsters, he's seen demons, he's seen people harness death, and so why not space? Probably too much Star Trek. Whatever, it's still the final frontier. There's not much that can surprise him anymore, at a point where he's not as jaded as he could be but he's pretty damn jaded. The stranger people on the barge aren't going to phase him.
That being said, the transition as a warden is going to be most difficult for him. He's never particularly been in a counseling position. Winchesters have a tendency to put up or shut up, and issues are rarely to be talked about ("No chick flick moments."), but Sam has always been one of the most open of the family. Which is really not saying much, but he's a smart guy who knows when to hold his tongue and when to speak his mind. He can adjust to the job, but it doesn't mean it's going to be an easy adjustment.
Beyond that, well. Dean is here. And it's not "his" Dean. If that's not a difficulty in and of itself, he doesn't know what the hell is going to be.
